Much has been said about pool homes being abandoned-who takes care of the pool? usually no one, then the swars of mosquitoes come in.
This can spell disaster here in Santa Clarita. In fact the California association of Realtors has requested that property managers inspect their parcels for any mosquito problems and report to the Department of Public Health.
From Car.org
The California Department of Public Health is requesting all real estate property managers who regularly access vacant and for-sale homes to report any "green" pools to the local mosquito and vector control agency - West Nile virus is on the rise in California and there have been several reported deaths - For more information visit www.westnile.ca.gov or to report a problem call 1-877-968-2478)
