Two Illinois men were arrested by Sheriff’s deputies after a resident reported that they were "aggressively" soliciting homes with door-to-door magazine sales in the 26300 block of Cardinal Drive in Canyon Country.

Watch out every body! they were in a area that I have a listing at in Castaic and wow they are very very pushy! hope these scam artists will leave as soon as possible.

Home Interiors whats hot for 2008

January 5th, 2008 · No Comments

What’s Hot for 2008
Warm colors and natural materials are hot in 2008 interior design, with an emphasis on "retro glamour" and "chic" according to Davis Remignanti, Lead Design Consultant at Furniture.com. Some highlights from Remignanti 2008 design trends report,

Glamour - refined finishes and silhouettes. “The look is glamorous but in an approachable and welcoming way.”
Vintage Mix - Still popular is combinimg the old with the new. Vintage pieces are not only a great way to incorporate a family heirloom and save a tree at the same time.
  • Look for accent pieces with a hint of chrome, mirrored and glass all of which are making a big comeback for home decorating.
  • Color pallete for paint will be "spicy" think russet, warm shades of red, flax, greens blue is also expected to make a strong showing.
  • On the way out is oversized furniture. Manufacturers are returning to smaller scale pieces more in proportion with normal human scale.

Overpriced Listings…where are they now?

There have been so many in recent months. When I see them hit the market I can only think of one thing for the seller. Sorry.
I really can’t understand why over the last couple of years the handwriting’s been on the wall…why are these sellers torturing themselves? These MLS numbers are the current listing MLS data, these two have been listed so many times combined they have about 8 separate MLS numbers. Both of these homes are located in Castaic, California.

Smile… Be Happy

December 31st, 2007 · No Comments

With all the bad news in the housing and mortage market this year, California fires, economy, winter weather, world news, this picture really said it all for me - something light hearted if just for a minute.  It will go down as the best moment to snap a picture or the best use of photoshop tools. Either way…I kind of like it. This picture just reminds me to appreciate the small stuff…photoshopped or not.

If any one knows the origin of this photo, please send me an email and let me know so I can give credit where due.
