Santa Clarita Fire Storms

The Buckwheat Fire which started in Acton at about 1:00 PM on Sunday quickly burned the ridgeline into Bouquet Canyon and ravaged several neighborhoods in Canyon Country and Saugus.Sunday night many areas in Canyon Country were under mandatory evacuations.

The Ranch Fire in Castaic as of Monday October 22 has burned 35,000 acres this fire started on Saturday night October 20 in a remote area, however has spread into Val Verde and Hasley Canyon, Mandatory evacuations are called for on Monday afternoon when the fire encroaches on homes.
