It was reported here today that the boy who started the Buckweed Fire will not be charged. The fire burned 38,000 acres and destroyed 21 homes.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney will not file charges however has referred the "matter" to Department of Children and Family Services, “to determine if other intervention is necessary,” according to the news release from the D.A. ’s office.
