Castaic Lake Recreation Area
Castaic Lake Recreation Area is a 9,000 acre park featuring many of your favorite water and outdoor activities such as fishing, boating, jet skiing, swimming and mountain biking. For hours of operation and seasonal schedules, Visit Castaic Lake
Professional tournaments and events are hosted year round at Castaic, including the annual "Love Ride" for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Pyramid Lake
Located about 30 minutes north of SCv is Pyramid Lake, this Lake is very popular for water sking, jetski, and fishing. For boating and camping inforamtion, visit Pyramid Lake
Lake Piru
Enjoy water sking and fishing at this lake surrounded by the national forest.
Lake Elizabeth and Lake Hughes
Area residents call them "The Lakes" These lakes are small by comparison to Castaic and Pyramid, however still worth a visit. Small watercraft here, Power boats are limited to 10 horsepower motor size no jet ski’s or water ski’s.
A portion of Lake Elizabeth is owned by the U.S. Forest Service and has a picnic area and boat launch ramp. Access to Lake Hughes is provided through a resort with developed campsites and full amenities, including hot showers.
